Palmistry

 THE MOUNT OF SATURN--

It is located in the conscious/mental quadrant on the palm. Being situated under the middle finger, denotes balance & stability, and that only with its normal development. Larger the mount, more Saturnian the nature and the man admits defeat even before viewing the opposition. A real stingy person & his cheerless rupee- pinching ways are more than enough to squash the cheerful optimist & he prone to lead a solitary, misanthropic life style. The over- development of the mount with other negative signs on the hand is linked to melancholia, suicidal tendencies & sometimes an interest in black magic. The optimum size for a good mount is slightly under developed & keep in mind that development of negs boring mounts does not show it like this. It is only then the bearer has caution & carelessness in balance, with light-hearted optimism rather than recklessness taking precedence.
A love of study & research is shown by a good mount, with an inquiring mind, with scientific investigation & with serious approach to life.
Conversely a non-existent mount tells of a feckless Ness that results from a deficient sense of responsibility & seriousness in life.
Traditionally a cross on Saturn indicates a violent & sudden end of life, but cross being a sign of Saturn & on Saturn it is not likely than making a Saturnian more ruthless & direly practical.
A square on the mount is a sign of ' Guardian Angel', preserving us from harm at work.
A triangle on Saturn, inclines one to serious thought about one's place in the universe, or about God, traditionally a sign of ' Shiv Bhakta ', but now suggests a ceaselessly questioning & probing mentality.
A star on Saturn is similar in significance to that of a cross but traditionally a sign of tragic end. But in modern times a sign of learning by hard lessons.
A circle here, though never seen, is traditionally a good omen.
A grille on the mount tends to convert it into an over developed mount & the results accordingly.
Three or more vertical lines here without cutting horizontal lines, indicate a Jack of all & master of none & so multiplicity of interests.
